I climbed Mt. Oberlin (one of many times) on a day like this about 20 years ago on opening day of Logan Pass. The fog was thick and somewhat stagnant at sunrise, but as the air warmed, it started to dump down the west side. We made it to the summit through the fog and got above it just below the mountaintop. An unreal day.

I lived in the trailer park on the left side of the road, next to the road the skating rink was on I believe, by the hardware place that burned down, That road was my bus route in grade school from hungry horse.
Over the river and into Columbia falls, a beautiful place to be.

I wonder when they are going to put another road in to access Big Mountain? Maybe connect it at the Blue Moon intersection.

Actually, it's Big Mountain.
Build those multi million dollar homes! Increase property taxes. Run the very last of the true locals out!. I left Whitefish after 27 years because of this kind of stuff! Now its happening where I live in Homer Alaska!
